What we Know…
Schools are undergoing a worrying transformation from being a haven of safety to a spot of scare and concern. Tracking herewith the crimes and worrying incidents that are plaguing the schooling system in India. Below are some of the unfortunate incidents reported since January 2017… and I am still counting. Help me collate by sending in details about incidents of sexual abuse, violence, harassment and crime in schools, that you’ve come across in the media.

Creating a Safe Schooling environment is about assuring physically safety and emotional security of children and staff alike. Physical interventions aside, the role of personal and emotional interventions towards a Safe School is equally important.
